About us

Brigitte is the founder of Kingston Cooking Studio, where she brings her love of food, teaching, and community together. She grew up in the heart of Europe in a family that blended flavours from everywhere they travelled and lived — European cuisines mixed with vibrant Asian influences from their years in Hong Kong. That mix of cultures shaped her curiosity and joy for food from an early age.
As an adult, Brigitte has travelled widely, always seeking out culinary experiences that deepened her appreciation for how food tells stories, connects people, and celebrates culture. Cooking became her passion — a way to explore, to nourish, and to bring people together.
For the past ten years, Brigitte has run kids camps in Toronto, designing programs that build confidence, independence, and creativity in kids. Now in Kingston, she’s excited to combine that background with her love of cooking, healthy eating, and community connection. As a mother of two, she understands how important it is to make cooking simple, accessible, and empowering for families.
Through Kingston Cooking Studio, Brigitte can’t wait to teach kids practical kitchen skills that boost their confidence, independence, and joy — all while creating a warm, welcoming space where everyone feels at home.
